Who is responsible

This is the personal website of Malon Bakker, musician, artist and writer. Malon Bakker is responsible for this site and for the way it handles personal data. Questions about privacy can be sent to hello@modderenzwanen.nl.

Nothing is tracked

The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. There are no forms or accounts for visitors. Fonts, images and audio are served from the site itself, so your browser does not contact other companies while you browse here.

Server logs

Like every website, the servers that deliver these pages (Hostinger for malonbakker.nl, Vercel for the preview address) briefly record technical details of each request, such as the IP address, the page requested, the date and time and the browser type. The hosting providers use these logs to keep the service running and secure. Malon Bakker does not use them to identify or follow visitors.

Email and the business card

If you write to Malon Bakker, your email address and message are only used to reply to you. The digital business card (/kaart) offers a contact file to download; downloading it sends nothing about you to this site beyond the usual server log entry.

Links to other sites

Links to services such as Instagram, Spotify and Bandcamp take you to sites with their own privacy policies. Music on this site plays from the site itself and does not load players from other services.

Your rights

Under the GDPR (in Dutch: AVG) you can ask which personal data is held about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Write to hello@modderenzwanen.nl. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
